THE COB HOUSE

The Cob is a straw and lime rendered building with a living roof which has recently been lovingly restored by us. A verandah runs the full width of The Cob, giving you extra living space and allowing you to sit out and enjoy the views over our four acres of gardens and wild meadows, whatever the weather.


When you arrive you will be directed to your own private parking area.

THE SITTING ROOM

The Cob has two rooms: Snuggle down and unwind in the Sitting Room in front of the wood burning stove. The large windows and skylight allow light to stream through during the daytime and are perfect for gazing at the stars in the clear dark skies which we are able to enjoy in this area of the UK.

In The Bedroom the comfy king size bed has a wool mattress helping keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Wake up in the morning to views over the garden, orchard and wild meadows beyond. The En-Suite just off the bedroom is a special design feature of The Cob with a walk-in shower, plank effect tiles, quirky basin and plenty of fluffy towels warming on the radiator.

We offer a choice of Aga cooked full English breakfast or Continental breakfast. All served at a time to suit you – no need to rush at The Cob.
